Internet for rural life
Fast reliable internet
for rural homes
No broadband in your static caravan?
Want to remote work from home?
Rural life has its charms, but slow internet isn’t one of them. Reliable, fast internet (especially upload speed) is a must for thriving, and given the chance to work remotely, who wouldn't want to seize that?
Struggling to increase occupancy in holiday homes?
Most holidaymakers expect internet access these days. Is your rural retreat suffering negative reviews and losing out on bookings because of slow connectivity?
Missing the grandchildren?
Oh Mum, do we really have to go to Nan and Grandad's? There's no Wi-Fi - it's like stepping back to the Stone Age! Stomp, stomp, stomp.
Fed up of buffering?
Is that spinning wheel of doom making you lose your cool, whether it's catch-up TV or those movie channels? Ready to chuck your uneaten popcorn at the screen in sheer frustration?
Rural connection, the IT Guy's direction!
My story, static caravan internet
Having bought a static caravan in South Lincolnshire I found myself (and many other site owners around me) struggling to obtain reliable speedy internet needed for today’s everyday living.
I needed a fix, so luckily having 30 years experience in IT, electronic design, and manufacture, I brought these skills together to develop a budget-friendly, solid solution.

How does it work?
We use a high-gain commercial 4G (LTE) dish designed for rural areas. Simply insert a standard SIM card (we recommend EE for bandwidth, coverage, cost), and it connects to a 4G mobile phone mast—even if your phone barely gets a signal!
The high-speed, reliable broadband signal is then distributed to any Wi-Fi enabled device via a Wi-Fi Access Point using both 2.4GHz and the super fast 5GHz band.
Now you have internet on any device around the home, phones, laptops, Firestick, NowTV — easy peasy!
What parts do you need:
- 4G LTE dish
- Dish configuration using advanced intellectual property
- SIM card from a phone supplier (you provide)
- Wi-Fi Access Point (router)
- Data cable
- Dish mast
- Dish bracket and fixings (for van mount)
- Or dish bracket and fixings (for decking mount)
- Or dish tripod allowing mobility (additional cost)

Connecting Rural Homes: Our Broadband Journey in Pictures
What does the process look like?
Step 1 - Get in touch
If you would like to discuss how we can bring internet to your rural static caravan (or similar), the first step is to get in touch via our:
We can chat over email and set up a time to have a quick phone or video conference to discuss your needs and see where we can help.
Step 2 - Site survey, speed & signal (try before you buy)
Before purchasing any of our kit, we will perform a speed and signal level survey at yours, using a 4G dish mounted on a tall tripod.
The survey will establish:
- The best 4G mobile mast in your location.
- The direction of the dish.
- Any obstructions and options for avoiding (trees, significant foliage, buildings).
- The speed range you can expect.
- Cable routes from the dish to within your home.
- Any bespoke components or fitting requirements.
We’ll also bring a Wi-Fi router so you can test any of your devices on the system for yourself – try before you buy!
The site survey has a one-off fee of £50 for those in Norfolk or South Lincolnshire, with no obligation to purchase any future equipment.
After we’ve had a chat with you in Step 1 to assess your requirements, we’ll send a payment link for the survey, once paid you’ll receive a receipt and we’ll arrange a site visit in the next 7 to 14 days.
Step 3 - Purchase required kit
If you’re happy the kit meets your requirements, we’ll send a payment link for the parts required and a receipt upon successful payment.
We’ll then arrange a date and time to bring the kit and complete the installation, which typically takes 4 hours.
Don’t forget you will need to provide a SIM card, we will discuss this during the survey but likely recommend EE and an unlimited data package.
The kit and installation costs £349 in addition to the survey cost of £50, excluding bespoke install requirements (mobile tri-pod, long cable runs, tricky installation etc, which we’ll confirm on survey day).
Step 4 - Install day, the exciting bit!
We will bring your kit which includes the 4G dish, Wi-Fi point, mounting parts, cable run, install, setup and test.
You will have your SIM card to the ready.
Now it’s time to get all your devices connected simply over Wi-Fi and we’ll remain with you to assist connecting your devices and get you up and running quickly – let the internet fun begin!
